This bookstore in Vancouver, BC, is rumored to have columns of books in the basement placed to help support the sagging floorboards. There is hardly a patch of wood peeking out from the many vintage rugs sprawled across the space between mountains of books of every genre.
It smells like thin yellowing pages and old memories, and the floor creaks with every step.
